The Hungry Hearts Foundation was founded in 2023 by Kathy and Nelio Vaz and the Meat Bar Marketplace family. What started as a simple idea to help local families during the holidays has grown into a community effort made possible by the generosity of local businesses, families, and volunteers.

Since our first Christmas, we have been committed to ensuring that no family goes without a warm holiday meal. Through donations, partnerships, and the kindness of our community, we provide complete Christmas meals to families facing difficult times, bringing hope, dignity, and joy during the holiday season.
